The Double Circulation Electrical Model (SKU JL-LE-11474, Cat. No. JSS-204/070) traces the two circuits that blood follows through the body. The small, pulmonary circulation runs from the right ventricle through the pulmonary artery and its branches to the capillaries in the alveolar walls, and back through the pulmonary veins to the left atrium. The large, systemic circulation runs from the left ventricle through the aorta and its branches to the body capillaries, and back through the veins, the venae cavae and the coronary sinus to the right atrium. The model is electrically operated.
