SKU JL-GLE-11248, listed as Disk for the Balance of Moments, is a machined aluminium moments disc made by JaincoLab, at least 245 mm in diameter. It turns on a ball bearing in a vertical plane on a tripod stand, and four pins with scale pans fit into holes set in concentric circles, so students can hang loads at several distances from the axis and balance them. Each moment is the load multiplied by its distance from the axis, and the disc stays level when the moments on both sides balance.
