The Disk for the Balance of Moments, SKU JL-GLE-11213, is a JaincoLab moments disc for physics lessons on turning forces. A machined aluminium disc 245 mm across turns on a ball bearing in a vertical plane, held on a tripod stand. Holes arranged in concentric circles let four pins with scale pans be placed at chosen distances from the axis, so loads can be balanced and moments compared. When the disc stays still, the clockwise moments add up to the same total as the anticlockwise moments.
