The Demonstration Motor Model (SKU JA-ELA-5296) is a model of the simplest form of DC electric motor. It has a 2-pole armature wound with enamelled copper wire on an insulated plastic bobbin, and the magnetic field comes from a removable permanent magnet. The construction is fully open, so every part can be identified and its working seen clearly. A disc-type commutator is fitted and the motor runs on 6-8 V DC.
