The Calorimetry set, SKU JL-GLE-11274, is made by JaincoLab for measuring the specific heat capacity of water and comparing it with the table value. An electric heater powered from a 1.5-12 V supply warms a known mass of water; the digital voltmeter and ammeter give the power, the stopwatch the time and the thermometers the temperature rise, so energy supplied can be set against the heat taken up by the water.

The experiment
