The JaincoLab double C core with clip (SKU JA-M-7922) is a laminated magnetic core that comes apart into two equal C-shaped halves. The core is a rounded rectangle with a square cross-section, cut across the middle so that the meeting faces are square and bare metal; a spring steel clip holds the halves together. Coils can be slipped on before closing it, which makes it useful for transformer and magnetism work in school and college laboratories.
