The Bucket and Cylinder (SKU JA-MI-2150) demonstrates Archimedes principle: the solid cylinder fits exactly into the hollow bucket, so when the cylinder is immersed and the bucket is then filled with water, the balance returns to its first reading. This bucket and cylinder apparatus is made entirely of brass, 50 mm (2 inch) long, and the cylinder has a suspension hook at one end to hang from a balance.
