The Biological Safety Cabinet (SKU JA-BSC-3830) is an enclosed work cabinet for handling micro-organisms, in which HEPA-filtered air is partly re-circulated over the work zone and partly exhausted through a filter, with an air barrier of make-up air at the front opening. This biological safety cabinet has glove ports and gauntlets, a sliding sash that lifts so the unit can also serve as a vertical laminar flow bench, and a built-in UV germicidal light.
