The Apparatus for Demonstrating the Moment of Force, SKU JL-GLE-11209, is a JaincoLab demonstration set for the turning effect of forces. A 245 mm disc is mounted on a 900 mm stand with a triangular iron base; masses and dynamometers are hung at different points on the disc so that the class can compare clockwise and anticlockwise moments and test the principle of moments. The 1 N and 2 N dynamometers let a measured pull replace a hanging mass, so moments from pulls and weights can be compared.
