The Apparatus for Demonstrating the Boil-Marriott Law, SKU JL-GLE-11216, is a JaincoLab demonstration of Boyle's law: for a fixed mass of gas at constant temperature, volume is inversely proportional to pressure, so PV stays constant. A transparent tube with a 0-300 cm3 scale is mounted horizontally, closed by a gas tap with a pressure gauge beside it, and a rubber stopper sets the working length of the tube. Halving the volume of the trapped air roughly doubles its pressure, which students can check from the scale and gauge readings.
