Alveoli Slides X.S (SKU JL-LE-11570, Cat. No. JSS-408/0122) are prepared transverse sections of lung tissue, supplied by JaincoLab for studying where gas exchange happens. Under the microscope the section shows the alveoli as many small air sacs with very thin walls, the surface across which oxygen and carbon dioxide pass between air and blood. The slides are clear borosilicate glass, kept in a white rectangular plastic box.
