Algebra Tiles (SKU JA-I-3707) is a set of square and rectangular manipulative tiles for working with polynomials. It has three types of tile, each in two colours, so positive and negative terms can be shown and cancelled. Pupils use these polynomial algebra tiles to add, subtract and multiply polynomials and to factorise them by arranging tiles into rectangles, a hands-on approach that many learners find easier than symbols alone.
